We collect limited information to understand how our link page is used: visits, the links selected, campaign and referring website, general device type, and approximate country or region. A random browser-session identifier lasts 30 minutes. It does not identify a person, and a click to a retailer does not tell us whether you made a purchase.

Detailed visit and click records are kept for 30 days, with totals kept for up to 400 days. IP addresses may be retained privately for up to 24 hours by default (never more than 72 hours) for abuse prevention and traffic troubleshooting. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for our link analytics. Cloudflare also processes requests to deliver and protect this site.

If you subscribe to the Sunday Letter, we store your email address, signup consent and subscription status. Sanity manages our articles; subscriber and visitor details are not stored in its public content dataset. Resend delivers our newsletter and manages unsubscribe and suppression preferences. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Inactive local subscriber records are removed after 90 days; the email provider may keep suppression information to respect your preferences.
